WHAT A GREAT GAME!

Bob suggested we go out to dinner last night. Secretly I really wanted to watch the World Champion baseball game. So I suggested Perry's which he loves and so do I - we can get a great table off the bar where I knew they'd have the game on.

I got one of those "now I know why you wanted to go here" looks but even he got into it a little bit (between courses). What a smashing game - great hitting, intrigue, humor and some pretty phenomenal pitchers on both treams. Japan beat Cuba by a couple of points. Awesome.

I haven't been to Perry's yet. Maybe when we do lunch next, we should go there. I know it's not the same scene it was 25 years ago, but could be fun.

It's hard for me to get to Perry's on Union Street for lunch but let's try to do a dinner there one night.
