Once SHOULD be enough
Nov. 17th, 2006 01:30 pmWhen I make an appointment or meal date with someone, I consider it confirmed.
Today I had a business lunch date and the guy never showed up. My limit for waiting is 30 minutes; if you're not there I'm out of there.
So I called his office and his secretary said "well, you didn't reconfirm so he thought that lunch was off." I explained to her that we confirmed the date when we set it and once things are confirmed, I don't re-confirm.
When did people get so precious that they have to reconfirm everything?
Am I missing something here?
