I'm sitting here with my feet up on the couch. Fiona, my younger dog is curled up right next to me snoring softly. I've got a blanket on top of both of us and when I look out the window, the fog is so thick I can't even see the Bay Bridge. Whenever the weather is like this I get this very snuggly feeling - being ensconced all toasty in a small room. Adding to this contented feeling are the different sounds of the foghorns. If you translated these sounds into gayspeak, you'd get this:

 - High pitched sounds (like a nelly queen selling makeup at Saks).
 - Low rumbling sounds (think of that last big, burly Daddy you met)
- Mid range sounds (One of those coat-and-tie/sweater boys looking for an income).

I'm also on Jury Duty this week. Rather on call Jury Duty for Sonoma County. You have to call in every day at 5pm to see if you will be needed for the next day. It's a pain because it's hard to make appointments for work or commitments for social stuff but I've decided to hell with it, I'll just go ahead and do what I usually do and just cancel if I have to at the last minute should I be called to interview as a prospective juror.

The last time I was up for Jury Duty I got off because I had an affair years ago with the prosecuting attorney. When he was married. To a woman. And it sure was fun explaining that little tidbit to the Judge sotto voce.
