Only in SF

The other day I had to go to Gumps. In front of me were two women, nicely dressed. You would have thought they were natives except when one of them opened their mouth and said "Lookie here girl at that beautiful tray"with a very thick southern accent. The tray had a border inlay of Mother of Pearl. Definately not my style but I could imagine they were someplace from the south replete with a baby-blue colored dining room.

A salesperson approached the ladies to see if they needed any assistance.

The other lady said to the salesperson, "is this inlaid with Mother of Clam?"

The salesperson rolled her eyes; I burst out laughing.
