.....than fuzzygruf  and double_ohsteven when it comes to playing hosts, especially for the Gary-oke parties. Last night was no exception. It was great to see herrdreamersf , rootbeer1 , qbear , spaceybear  and finally to meet the booming baritone, furfairy . (I swear, between Furfairy and Jeff's friend Martin, I thought the windows were going to shatter at one time, it was so loud!). We sang everything under the sun and this time ended with "The Wind Beneath My Wings". Can't wait for Merry-oke in December! The only people missing whom I really wanted to see were sfmini and dh_bearguy but I hope to see them both soon.

Afterwards I stopped by the Lone Star to see who was around. Thought I might run into kitchenbeard but he was probably running around the Castro (last I talked to him). Good news from him: he's definately moving to town before the year's up so that's great news and he's sooooo excited. Ran into a few other "floatsam and jetsam" (to quote furfairy and headed home.

Losing my job yesterday was kind of a shock. I just wasn't up to singing, as much as I probably should have gone.
